MPhil Microbiology, University of Ghana
Friend, let me welcome you to the GBC Students Network. This is a program of the GBC which is dedicated to scientific capacity-building in Ghana, West Africa, and the continent at large. We are committed to exposing students and young researchers to opportunities and career development.
|
Our objective is to bring together Ghanaian students home & abroad to identify, nurture & promote research interest among students. International students who love Ghana and Africa are invited to join. Our focus is students in the biomedical sciences, engineering and other health related fields. Since the physical, social and mathematical sciences are making significant contributions to global health, students in these areas are also welcome to join us.
Our goal is to promoting research interest among students for improved health and economic development. We also seek to provide a forum for interaction and collaboration among students and professional/academic mentors. Through the GBC, opportunities are created for world-wide for training, mentoring, and other capacity building initiatives in order to produce a cadre of world-class scientists. |
